It’s a truly exciting time for us right now and we want to share what’s going on with you with this new monthly update feature.
We want to talk about our activities and events, the things we’re sponsoring, our place in gaming industry news, and (of course) the games themselves.
This month at Kwalee is just the beginning!
What was once a funny little Creative Wednesday game that tickled our funny bones has turned out to be our newest blockbuster: Teacher Simulator has crossed 30 million downloads this month!
One of the most satisfying things about working in Hyper Casual games is that they never stand still. From Draw It and Shootout 3D to Let’s Be Cops 3D and Teacher Simulator, we’ve launched a vast array of hits that often bear little relation to one another except their success.
Kwalee is made up of a diverse bunch of people, and we’re growing all the time!

A recent ranking of UK-based app publishers, conducted by the leading app analytics firm App Annie, has positioned us as the Number One UK mobile games publisher and the top British app publisher across all categories in the private sector!
It’s a sign of how quickly we’re growing here at Kwalee that we’re always looking to the next benchmark. When we hit half a billion downloads across all our games last November, our focus quickly shifted to hitting one billion. And now we’re hiring for 101 more game jobs, which will see us double in size. We’re calling this ‘kwalee101’.
Some of you might remember that a couple of months ago, we published TENS! – our first ever game on Steam (PC) and Nintendo Switch.

Launched at the end of 2020, our game Teacher Simulator has already proven to be a massive hit.
Taking players into the virtual classroom, at a time when real schools here in the UK are shut as part of latest lockdown measures, Teacher Simulator is a light-hearted take on school life that has been downloaded more than 6.5 million times.
Diwali is here, and it’s our first since establishing our Bengaluru team in May! We’re really proud of the brilliant team we’re building in India; their talents have helped us to ship more brilliant games and working with them every day is a privilege.
At Kwalee we largely work together as a single unit, as we do with our team members all over the world, which means that we’re a tight-knit bunch regardless of location.
