Sometimes, there’s a real fear about joining a games company among people in the games industry. In some studios the norm is to work well beyond reasonable hours to deliver projects against a demanding schedule. Some people have even chosen to quit their dream careers 4-5 years later because of it. And it’s unfortunately one of the most common company mistakes.
Our company’s CEO David Darling CBE has been honoured as a Fellow of Warwickshire College and University Centre (WCUC).

We refer to them a lot since they’re a fundamental part of what we do at Kwalee, but in the past, we have been less effective at explaining what they are — and why we are so passionate about them — to those outside our walls. We want to correct that. So, let’s start right at the beginning.

For as long as there’s been Kwalee, there have been dogs around. And although we’re a whole lot bigger now (and more people means more dogs), it’s official: with the official dog policy in place, Kwalee is now dog-friendly! Meaning, all who work at the Kwalee UK office can bring their pooches over whenever they like.
This means that our employees can look forward to having their furry friends alongside them at work – whether working from home or at the office.

And now we’re hiring for 101 more game jobs, which will see us double in size. We’re calling this ‘kwalee101’.
